Hi There!
I'm Chris, the Art Director on Rad Rodgers.
Side-scrollers have come a long way. From a technology standpoint, Unreal Engine 4 enables us to do so much more with the art today than game designers could in the 90's.
I've whipped up a quick video to introduce you to our art and some of the process behind the visuals you've seen in the game so far. This is just Part 1 of hopefully what turns into a multi-part series, so leave a comment below if there's anything else you'd like to see!
Oh, and some team members also got together and whipped up a fun little comic strip as a bonus for this Backer Update. Titled: Scary Story. Enjoy :)
