WE'RE FUNDED! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

We're funded guys! You did it! In 30 days you guys managed to fund Rad Rodgers, and even hit our first stretch goal. 

We did it! The Rad Rodgers Kickstarter ended successfully with 163% funded, and the most popular video-game on Kickstarter during the last week of the campaign!

I'm so extremely proud of the entire team, both on-site and off-site, for putting in an amazing amount of work during this Kickstarter! We can't wait to show you what we have in store for the coming months! <3 We love you all dearly.

48 Hours Left! 24 Hour Live Stream Details! Behind the Game Design!

 Hi Guys!

48 Hours Left!
We're closing in on the end of the Kickstarter.
And we're getting REALLY close to our first stretchgoal! Let's make it happen!

Also, in our last update we talked briefly about a 24-hour Live Stream.
The Live Stream will start at 4pm CEST (7am PDT), and run for the last 24 hours of the Kickstarter campaign.

The first 7 hours we'll be working at the studio (We have a game to finish!), so you'll be able to casually watch the crew as we work our way through a regular work-day. 

At 11pm CEST (2pm PDT) the fun starts! We have 17 hours of playing Games, Talking Rad, Interceptor and just having Fun ahead of us! You'll be able to join us playing a range of new and old games, discuss Rad Rodgers, and the future of the project, and even join us for dinner, lunch and breakfast! (In that order!).

It's going to be one hell of a day, and we'll probably struggle through the last 8-12 hours having been awake for so long!

World 2 Revealed! 3 Days Left! 24-hr Livestream!

Hi Guys

We're only 3 days away from the conclusion of the Kickstarter campaign, and we're closing in on our first stretch goal! We really wanted to treat you guys with a sneak peek into what we're aiming for with the second episode of Rad Rodgers.
Today we're revealing the second world!

World 2 - The Ice World

As you already know, we're developing one world at a time for Rad Rodgers. The first world is the Jungle World, and introduces the player to the core-foundation of Rad Rodgers. The Characters, the Weapons, Dusty, the Pixelverse etc.

For World 2 we want to do something very different. The goal is to keep the core foundation of gameplay the same (The feel, the way you jump, shoot, attack, etc.). But the rest - The World, Enemies, Game Mechanics, Puzzles etc. will be completely new. We're even considering changing the looks of the main characters to wear appropriate clothing for each world.

We haven't fully designed the second world, and it's all still on the drawing board, but we do have some really cool ideas of what we could do. Since the world is made of ice, you can probably imagine a lot of cool new game-mechanics. Some of my personal ideas range from being able to freeze waterdrops and enemies into ice-cubes that melt over time, but briefly allows you to stand on them, and use them as platforms to having surfaces you can slide on for Rollercoaster-style scenes, where you jump over pits, freeze water in mid air to create platforms you can land on etc.

These are all still ideas, and nothing has been set in stone yet. We can't wait to sit down and start designing the second world, and all the exciting the game-mechanics.

I really hope you're as excited about the second world as we are. 
We might not hit the stretch goal during this first campaign, but rest assured - We'll do everything we can to make it happen. We strongly believe in Rad Rodgers, and would love to be able to realise our plans for the future worlds.

But hold up! We're not done yet! As you might know, we're closing in on the last days of the Kickstarter, and for the final day we've decided to do a.

24 Hour Livestream!


We'll be Livestreaming for the last 24 hours of the Kickstarter. You'll be able to watch us as we work on the last day of the campaign, and during the night (Danish Time), we'll be having a ton of fun playing a range of games, talking with you guys, and just having a blast. We'll be revealing the full schedule for the Livestream within the next couple of days. Make sure you save the date, and keep your eyes on our Twitch channel!

Behind the Visual Effects of Rad Rodgers & 56K Reached, & Comic

 Hi there!
I'm Yoeri - The Visual Effects guy on Rad Rodgers.

First of all, I want to thank all of you for the amazing effort. Without all of you we wouldn't have reached the first funding goal. Yesterday we hit the first Goal, and we're currently hoping to reach the next stretchgoal before the campaign ends. We have 6 days left, but we believe in you guys!

Today we hit 56k!

In todays update I want to talk a bit about particle effects for Rad Rodgers. 

I've put together a small behind-the-scenes look at the creation of a "Level Unlock" particle effect for the overworld in the game.

In the video you'll see how I create the particles for Rad Rodgers, and get an in-depth look into the work and methods required.

I really hope you'll enjoy watching this as much as I did making it!

Forerunners -- A Special Documentary

Today we've prepared a very special update for all of you. Our partners at 3D Realms have helped produce what we believe is just an incredible piece of timeless gaming history, in the form of a mini-documentary you can watch below.

Featuring John Romero, Cliff Bleszinski, Tom Hall, John Passfield, and others -- hear from some of the icons behind many of the oldest PC platformers that really inspired a generation of platforming games. And certainly inspired Rad Rodgers.
